Cold weather doesn't shut us down. We laid this brick paver pathway while snow was still on the ground, and it came out exactly the way the homeowner envisioned - a smooth, sweeping curve that connects the side yard to the back of the home.
Here's what made this one interesting. The path needed to curve naturally around the landscaping without feeling forced or awkward. That kind of layout takes planning. Every brick has to be set at just the right angle to keep the pattern consistent through the bend, otherwise the whole thing looks off. The herringbone pattern we used here is a classic for a reason - it locks together tightly and holds up well over time.
The dark charcoal border pavers do a lot of work in a design like this. They give the path a clean, defined edge and make the warm brown field pavers pop. It's a simple detail, but it's the difference between a path that looks intentional and one that looks thrown together.
We take paver work seriously because this stuff is permanent. A well-built pathway adds real value to your property and handles years of foot traffic without shifting or cracking the way poured concrete often does. Done right, you won't be tearing it out in ten years.
Cold snaps, snow on the ground - none of that stopped us from delivering a finished product worth being proud of. If you've been putting off a paver project because of the season, that's not a reason to wait.
